Experience

I have totally near about five years of research experience working in the field of Population Studies, I have worked on "Examining the linkages between high-risk fertility behaviours, chronic undernutrition and anaemia among married Indian women of reproductive age group". After that, I worked as a Senior Research Officer for ten and half months, from mid-August 2018 to the end of June 2019, on the project of IIPS entitled "Projection of district level annual population by quinquennial age group and sex from 2011 to 2031 in India". Furthermore, I started my Integrated M.Phil. and PhD course at IIPS in July 2019 to till date. During this period, I worked on the family building process and women empowerment and then moved to Fertility and Family Planning.

I am Sanjay Kumar Pal, a doctoral fellow in the Department of Fertility and Social Demography at IIPS, Mumbai. I have an M.Sc. (Statistics), Master of Population Studies (MPS) and M.Phil. in Population Studies. After that, I worked as a Senior Research Officer in a project of IIPS. Furthermore, I started my Integrated M.Phil. & PhD course at IIPS in July 2019 to date. During this period, I worked on the family-building process and women empowerment. Presently, I am working on my doctoral thesis work related to fertility and Family Planning.
