I am an Assistant Professor at The Population Research Center, The Maharaja Sayajirao university of Baroda with a PhD in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences, and degrees in Geography from Banaras Hindu University. My research focuses on public health, population studies, and the health impacts of climate change, with expertise in quantitative research and large-scale data analysis. I am the Co-Principal Investigator for NFHS-6 in Himachal Pradesh and Delhi and part of a Wellcome Trust-funded project on heat adaptation. I also serve as Managing Editor of Demography India and Executive Council member of IASP.
