1. Successful Completed Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) under UGC-Post-Doctoral Fellowship Scheme since 03-03-2015 on Migration and Rural Development in Uttar Pradesh, India. Fellowship tenure was five years (03-03-2015 to 02-03-2020) and report was submitted on 09-04-2021.

2-Worked as Research Associate in the project entitled “Assessing quality of Civil Registration System (CRS) Data at the District Level on a regular basis for facilitating updating exercise of the National Population Register (NPR)” under Prof. PM Kulkarni, CSRD/SSS/ JNU, New Delhi-67, during 1st October, 2014 to 28th February 2015 (5 months).

3-Worked as Research Assistant in the project entitled “Assessing quality of Civil Registration System (CRS) Data at the District Level on a regular basis for facilitating updating exercise of the National Population Register (NPR)” under Prof. PM Kulkarni, CSRD/SSS/ JNU, New Delhi-67. During 1st October 2012 to 30th September 2014 (2.1 year).

4- Worked as Census Data Manager at Census Data Centre, JNU, New Delhi, during 7th February to 30th September, 2012 for managing data and teaching to data users under census data in charge Prof. PM Kulkarni (Duration 8 Months).
5-Worked as Research Associate, in the Project “Impact of Brewery Industry on Income, Output and Employment in Haryana; A study of Inter- Industry Flows in Haryana.” under supervision of Prof. R.K. Sharma, Centre for the Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, from January 01 to March 31st 2010, funded by SAB miller India. Project is on the status of Indian breweries Industry. Main objective of this project is input-output analysis of producing sectors like agricultural sector, chemical industries. (3 Months).
-Analyzed data such as cost of cultivation, demographic profile of Haryana, Industrial workers in Haryana (Economic survey data), agriculture Input-output tables for Haryana. Surveyed farmers of Yamuna nagar district of Haryana, regarding cost benefit analysis.

6-Worked in Sigma Research and Consultancy (SRC) Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi as Assistant data analyst, under guidance of Dr. Somayajulu, CEO, Sigma (2 Months).
-Analyzed data of National Pension Scheme, data of Health Insurance in India, and data of Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) collected by SRC, New Delhi.
-Did scrutiny of questionnaire, data entry in CsPro, data cleaning, data validation etc., during July to August, 2009.
Consultancy with International and National Organization
1- Worked in IntraHealth International as data analysis (M&E) consultant for three months in the project of ‘mSakhi’ during January 10 to September 30, 2017. Analyse the impact of mSakhi mob apps in the performance of Maternal and Child Health in Jhansi and Uttrakhand @2890.
2-Worked in Pathfinder International as data analysis Consultant for 20 days @ Rs. 5000/ per day in Prachar Project during September to November 2014.
-Analysed data of impact of Socio-economic, cultural programme on contraceptive knowledge and its use among unmarried boys and girls and married male and female in UP and Bihar.
3-Worked in Micronutrient Initiative (MI), New Delhi, as Data Analysis Consultant
-Analysing month updated data of awareness and use of diarrhoea management among ASHA, ANM and AWW in Uttar Pradesh since September 2012 to till date.
-Analyzed data of Trainings for Health Professional Under the Childhood Diarrhea Management Programme (CDMP), the L1 training of Medical Officers (MO), L2 trainings for ANM and Supervisors, L3 training of ASHA and Anganwadi Workers. Analyzed the session content of training, IPC and training methodology adopted based the ratings, during 17th Oct. 2011 to 31st May, 2012.
4- Worked in Urban Health Resource Center (UHRC), New Delhi, as Data Analysis Consultant.
-Analyzed data of baseline survey conducted by UHRC in Meerut. It was a maternal, neonatal and reproductive health survey of urban poor slums. The sample size was about 15,000 households. I have analyzed the dataset using SPSS and provided tables for the baseline survey report. Analyzed NFHS-3 datasets by wealth indices to arrive at health indicators of the urban poor, during January to March, 2009.

Dr Sarda Prasad is currently working as Assistant Professor, School of Extension and Development Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) New Delhi, India. He had born in remote village in Bundelkhand region, UP on 18 December 1981 in farming community. He has completed Post Doctoral (PDF) research, on Impact of Migration on Socio-economic Status of households from CSRD, JNU, New Delhi. Before PDF, he had completed MPhil and PhD on ailing and hospitalization in India and on Migration from same centre and University respectively. His master is in Extension Education and graduated in Agriculture Honours. He has alos obtained degree MA Economics, PG Diploma in Rural Development (Gold) and PGD in Women and Gender Studies and successfully completed certificate program on Population and Sustainable Development (ACPSD) and on Life and Thought of Dr BR Ambedkar (CLTA). He has obtained LL.B degree too. He has participated in various Faculty Development Programmes and Training Programmes conducted by various national institutes of India. He has presented nearly 40 papers on various social issues in national and international conferences/seminars in India and in Abroad (Malaysia, China, and Egypt) and 31 research articles published in the reputed journals. His main research interests are on Migration Studies, Rural Development, and Agriculture and Health Status in India especially rural areas.
