I am Gulnaj Basri, a doctoral candidate at the International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai. I belong to West Bengal. I have dual master's degrees, one in geography and the other in population sciences. Currently, I am engaged in comprehensive research on whether and how education is playing an instrumental role in the changing dynamics of marriage among Muslim minorities in the country. I aim to build a fulfilling career in academia, contributing to the existing knowledge domain and inspiring future generations.
