Experience

Punit Mishra is part of Population Council Consulting’s MLE team and leads the Research and Analyses for Scientific Transformation and Advancement (RASTA) initiative.
Prior to joining Population Council Consulting, Punit served as the Lead-Research, Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation (RMLE) at Piramal Foundation, where he managed the Aspirational Districts Transformation (NITI Aayog) and Tribal Health Collaborative’s RMLE portfolios. Punit has worked at RTI International and Abt Associates on different evaluation projects funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID). His experiences in these projects include working with clients in the National and State Governments, multi-lateral donors, and non-profit organizations across India and Africa. He has also taught statistics and research methods courses at University of Delhi. He has conducted several training sessions on RMLE, data analytics and data quality audits (DQAs) for government stakeholders, partners, and program teams.

Punit Mishra is part of Population Council Consulting’s MLE team and leads the Research and Analyses for Scientific Transformation and Advancement (RASTA) initiative. He is a statistician, demographer, and RMLE expert with more than 13 years of experience in public health, nutrition, education, and WASH domains. He has designed and managed process and outcome monitoring systems and conducted evaluation studies measuring impact of several social programmes.
