Experience

I have extensive experience in Population Studies and Public Health Research, with a strong focus on large-scale survey design, implementation, and evaluation at national and multi-state levels.
Currently, as a Senior Research Officer at IIPS, I lead research operations for the Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS-3), overseeing multi-state field implementation, sampling design, survey protocols, and stakeholder coordination with national and international agencies including MoHFW and WHO. I have expertise in training and capacity building, having designed and conducted national and state-level training programs, and in monitoring systems, ensuring data quality and operational efficiency.
Previously, I managed multi-site population-based studies on COVID-19 mortality at TISS, including tool development, field supervision, and data quality assurance. I have also contributed to large-scale program evaluations, data analysis, and preparation of policy reports, fact sheets, and research publications.
My core strengths lie in survey research, impact evaluation, demographic analysis, and translating evidence into policy-relevant insights.
