I am an Associate Professor in Geography at the Bijoy Krishna Girls’ College, Howrah, West Bengal, India. My research interests are Cultural Geography, Population Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Womens’ Studies. My present research is based on various socio-cultural aspects of India. I was the visiting scholar at Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand during March 2020 under the ICSSR-NRCT India-Thailand Bilateral Program, 2019-2020.
