Experience
I am an Assistant Professor and In-charge Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at KAHER, Belagavi, with a Ph.D. in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai. My academic and research experience spans fertility, reproductive health, maternal and child health, mortality trends, high-risk fertility behaviour, and population ageing. I have extensive experience working with large-scale survey data such as NFHS and Global Burden of Disease datasets, applying advanced statistical techniques including multilevel modelling, age–period–cohort analysis, joinpoint regression, survival analysis, geospatial analysis, and decomposition methods. I have published extensively in high-impact international journals and have served as a resource person in multiple workshops on biostatistics, epidemiological methods, and survey data analysis.
